Giulia Baso works for a leading provider of online courses aimed at the Higher Education market, in London. Previously, she worked for an independent publisher of art books and artists’ prints in Antwerp.
Giulia has a keen interest in all aspects of editorial work, and is passionate about the visual arts. Her background is in Modern Languages and Film Studies. She holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in English and Russian from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, and a PhD (funded by AHRC) from the University of Exeter, where she also taught Italian language and Film. Her research interests encompass transnational cinema and critical theory.
